Have you been wondering what is happening inside the new Stadium? Visit the Green Point Stadium Visitor Centre where you will be taken on a unique guided bus tour onto the soccer pitch of the 2010 Stadium under construction. You will also view an exhibition of photographs and memorabilia of soccer heroes of yesteryear and watch actor Anthony Fikile in the one-man show, the “GreensMan”, a dynamic, nostalgic, multi-media portrayal of the history of Green Point Common. This unique experience ends on a high note as you are taken on a virtual tour of the completed Stadium as it will appear in 2010. Tours: Monday to Friday 10h00 and 14h00 Saturdays: 10h00 and 12h00 Entrance fee: Adults R40, Students and pensioners R20. Venue: Green Point Stadium Visitor Centre, Vlei Road, Green Point. DIRECTIONS: Travel along Bill Peters Drive, past McDonalds. Turn left into Fritz Sonnenberg and first right into Vlei Road.
